Our New Campus

On August 23, 2009, the ribbon was cut on Duke School's new, unified campus.  Our new campus includes state-of-the-art facilities designed specifically for our program.

Highlights include:

  • New 40 acre campus including access to wetlands for research and exploration;
  • Total facility square footage increased by 50%;
  • New buildings constructed for preschool, kindergarten, first grade, and middle school grades;
  • Current middle school buildings redesigned and renovated to accommodate grades 2, 3, and 4;
  • All lower school classrooms are almost 30% larger than their previous campus, the gym is 60% larger, the library is double the size of the current space and a new after-school room for the lower school has been created;
  • Middle school facilities include a 60% larger library and a full-sized gym with bleachers, bathrooms, and locker rooms and improved athletic fields;
  • New offices for Admissions and Head of School;
  • Parking expanded and traffic flow greatly improved.
